Position Overview

Medica Services Company LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Support Specialist II to join our internal IT Customer Support team. The ideal candidate will have advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide Level 2 support for hardware, software, and network systems. This role requires both on-site presence and occasional remote support, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide second-level technical support to end users across the organization
  • Manage IT support tickets efficiently using ServiceNow to ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain and troubleshoot audio/visual equipment used in meetings and conferences
  • Deliver specialized support to executives and senior leadership
  • Mentor and assist junior IT support staff to enhance team knowledge
  • Identify root causes of complex technical issues and implement preventive measures
  • Document standard procedures, common issues, and best practices for IT support
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service and user satisfaction

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in IT support or a related field

Preferred Skills and Certifications

  • CompTIA A+ and Microsoft certifications are highly desirable
  • Proficient with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems
  • Experienced in Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, and Azure
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and ticketing tools like ServiceNow
  • Skilled in supporting AV hardware such as projectors, microphones, and conferencing systems
  • Ability to train Level 1 support staff and contribute to team development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive problem solver
